Yunquera is a town known for the unevenness of its terrain. As a town part of the Sierra de las Nieves, the territory has numerous geographical features and extraordinary nature. The inhabitants of this town, for centuries, and to save the unevenness that the land suffers began to cultivate in a particular way through a system that they called "terraces".
