Virgen del Rosario Festival
In October, Benadalid honours its Patroness, Virgen del Rosario. In the past, Her image was taken out and carried through the town’s streets. The image was burnt during the Spanish Civil War and the procession ceased to exist, but a few years ago locals got together to bring this tradition back to life. Now there is an open-air party aimed at raising funds for a new image to take out in procession.
