Casa Cervantes dates back to the 16th century. It is said that the one of the most important writers in Spanish-language, Don Miguel de Cervantes, stayed here when he was in the town collecting taxes in 1594. There are many rumours connected to the house, including unsubstantiated claims that the illegitimate son of King Philip IV was born there. The building features a beautiful façade, two large balconies, metal grilles and elements of Gothic style. Inside you can visit the vestibule, patio and various galleries.
