Between the Baños del Camren and La Malagueta is this urban beach that bears the name of the neighbourhood where it is. Due to its proximity to the city’s historic centre, La Caleta is one of the city’s most popular beaches.
At more than 1,000 metres long with an average width of 25 metres, it stands out for its dark sand and moderate swells. It has areas with palm trees and grass that offer natural shade that make it a perfect refuge fro high temperatures. It boasts the “Q” Quality Seal since 2018.
The beach, bordering the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Beachfront Promenade, has the ideal infrastructure and a wide variety of amenities. Visitors can enjoy children’s play areas, fitness areas, sunbed and beach umbrella rentals, as well as boats like pedal boats. Furthermore, this beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, a distinction awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education.
