Torrecilla Beach in Nerja is in the far-western section in town and some of the most extensive amenities. It turned the “Q” for Quality distinction in 2018.
This easily-accessible beach has multiple ways to access it, with five entrances at each end of the beach and three others in between. Its most unique amenity is the beach library where you can check out a book upon presenting a form of photo ID. There are books in many languages, including English, German, French or Italian. You can also donate your book at the end of your holiday. You can also find the library on Burriana and El Salón. Furthermore, this beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, a distinction awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education.
