This beach is undoubtedly one of the Costa del Sol’s jewels. At more than 1,000 metres long and 50 metres wide, it’s a perfect place to spend a quiet day by its crystal clear water. It earned the “Blue Flag” in 2019. There are three clearly-differentiated sections:
“Playa de la Sal.” Between the Torre de la Sal and the cliff that serves as the boundary between Playa Chica and Playa de la Sal, it is the starkest and most natural of the three.
“Playa Chica” is the most accessible area due to its proximity to the vehicle entrance with a car park. The abundant number of steep rocks will leave you speechless.
As for “Playa Ancha,” sandwiched between the Manilva river and La Parilla stream, it’s the largest and most popular section among beachgoers. It offers a variety of services such as beach bars, restaurants and sunbed rentals.
