Sabinillas Beach is in an urban area between Puerto de la Duquesa and the Manilva River within San Luis de Sabinillas about 20 kilometres from Estepona. Sabinillas Beach stands out for its dark sand and calm waters, as well as being 1.7 kilometres long with an average width of 50 metres.
The beach offers many activities for children during the season, such as children’s play areas or a water park in the sea. Its easy access and amenities make it a highly-frequented place for both children and adults alike, despite being far from the larger cities along the Costa del Sol.
In July and August, when there’s a Full Moon, there’s a moon festival (Fiesta de la Luna) where thousands of people dress in white and enjoy a festive, familiar vibe.
Furthermore, this beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, a distinction awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education.
