La Cañada
The golf course at La Cañada Golf
The La Cañada golf course was founded in 1982 with 9 holes designed by David Thomas, and it was later expanded with another 9 holes designed by Trent Jones. The course features entertaining fairways, that are not too long and end in fast greens, surrounded by large clusters of trees and views to the Mediterranean. This is an ideal course for those who love the sun and good weather. It measures over 5,000 metres and includes a driving range with two putting areas, approach area and bunker, which also make it an ideal location for holding competitions.
For those wishing to enjoy the experience of playing at the Golf Club La Cañada, the individual 9-hole green fee is available from €69 per person.
La Cañada installations and services
Among its facilities and services is the municipal La Cañada public academy, a non-profit sports organisation, the main goal of which is to introduce children to golf. It is ranked as one of the main academies in Spain.
They are also pioneers on the Costa del Sol for Adapted Golf, and their Academy has over 60 special-needs students who receive weekly lessons.
