The course at Marbella Golf & Country Club

Marbella Golf & Country Club is located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, just five minutes from the centre of Marbella. Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr. in the late 80s, it is located in one of the largest nature areas left on the Costa del Sol.

The 6,000-metre, 18-hole par 72 circuit was creatively designed, to adapt to the natural lie of the land and thus make the most of the spectacular backdrop of the Mediterranean.

The golf course perfectly blends into the exuberant natural environment of green hills and olive groves, making it the ideal location for a golf vacation in Spain.

Marbella Golf & Country Club Academy

The Marbella Golf & Country Club Academy offers golf lessons adapted to different ages.

On the one hand, golf lessons for adults, for anyone over 16. Each lesson provides theoretical-practical training, theoretical and audiovisual material, training sessions and practice on the course. The groups are small, for a better learning experience. The aim of the classes is to achieve the level of knowledge and golf skills necessary to progress onto the next level.

On the other hand, the group golf lessons for children are organised by level and age. The students will go out to the course at least once per month and they will also be informed of the competitions that are held in the area once they reach the necessary game level.

All of these classes are led by qualified coaches who have ample experience in the golf world, namely by Ángel Ibáñez, Stephane Hoarau, Phillip Tanha and Abbey Gittings.

The facilities at Marbella Golf & Country Club include the tennis club that is managed by the Tennis Group Academy, an international company specialising in Sports Management that was created by the joint venture of professional tennis players, specialists in events organisation, and professionals in management of sports facilities and sports management.

At the Clubhouse you will enjoy the El Olivo Restaurant, where the aim is to create a unique experience by merging three elements that make the Marbella Golf restaurant exceptional: premises, service and superior kitchen.

Lastly, the Marbella Golf Country Club Pro Shop is one of the best stocked on the Costa del Sol, where you can purchase all the equipment required for the game.
