Casarabonela City Council- Tourism Office
Casarabonela, a perfect combination of narrow steep streets built on different levels on the slopes of the Sierra de las Nieves, offers the visitor the perfect blend of its Muslim and Christian past: such as the Church of Santiago, which every December 12th receives the Virgen de los Rondeles from the Ermita de la Veracruz, or the Mirador del Castillo, the ruins of which preside over the landscape overlooking the Mediterranean. Its singing water fountains and Christian niches fill the streets, which, passing by the Andalusi Garden, lead down to the Cactus Garden, a botanical wonder, where the Tourist Office, with attention in Spanish, English and German, welcomes the visitors.
