Arroyo Hondo Beach owes its name to the homonymous stream flowing into the beach after crossing through town. Arroyo Hondo is about 20 kilometres from Benalmádena, and this beach surrounded by dense vegetation is between La Viborilla and Torremuella beaches. Its dark sand, clean waters and calm waves make it a perfect place to go for a swim with the family.
At 400 metres long and 20 metres wide, Arroyo Hondo has several beach bars. Due to its proximity to the Costa Azul Hotel, we recommend coming early in the day since the beach has a high average level of occupancy, especially during the summer season.
