
Casa Museo de Artes y Tradiciones Populares
The Tolox Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions opened in 1992 and has five large exhibition rooms: the dining room, the kitchen, the bedroom, the oil room and the field room. You can also see a photography exhibit from the 1950s and a space with farm equipment and pieces from the last Oil Mill in town. Objects in the house include an iron bed, a wooden crib, a missal from 1864, a carved wooden jewellery box, a wool mattress, old clothes, display cabinets, a fireplace with its boiler, a collection of toys, among many others.
