800 metres long and 50 metres wide, this Fuengirola beach of fine dark sand is a large expanse close to the historic-artistic complex of the Sohail Castle. It is an ideal place to celebrate moragas (traditional parties) in the typical boats with previous reservation, and it also has facilities for practising Parkour.
With calm waters, this beach is easy to reach by car or on foot and is only one mile from the centre of Fuengirola.
It offers bathing facilities for people with reduced mobility in a shaded area of 54 m2, with a special lifeguard service during the summer season.
Since 2014, an area of 3,424 m2 of this beach has been set aside for the use and enjoyment of dogs and their owners. The area is signposted with information panels and is enclosed by wooden fences with lockable gates.
In addition, this beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, a distinction awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education.
