
The Nerja Caves are a can’t-miss natural wonder declared a Spanish Historical Heritage and Cultural Interest Site if you happen to be in the area. The Nerja caves, three kilometres north of Nerja on the outskirts of the white town of Maro consists of two four-kilometre long, 35-kilometre wide caves. This exceptional site is one when you can discover art and history while enjoying a walk through the caverns.
The Nerja Caves also hosts an annual Music and Dance Festival with performances attracting international stars.
