Parish Church of Virgen del Rosario
The Virgen del Rosario parish church is the most interesting structure in Algatocín. According to tradition, the church was erected over the former palace of the legendary Princess Algotisa. What is known for certain is that it was constructed in the sixteenth century and underwent several modifications and repairs in later centuries. Its interior is divided into three naves and preserves several art objects from the eighteenth century, such as a polychrome wooden image by an unknown artist of St. Francis of Assisi.
