Una ventana al universo - Agenda Ocio Cultural de la Provincia de Málaga y su Costa del Sol

A window on the universe

Night-time observations depend on the position of the moon and its brightness on the night in question. The powerful telescopes of the Torcal de Antequera Observatory allow viewers to observe planets such as Saturn and Mars during the months of July and August as well as Jupiter, which is only visible in July. It is also possible to view galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. The more prominent stars can be observed using the regular telescope while constellations can be viewed using professional lasers.
