Exhibition "El Lissitzky. The Experience of Totality"
The Picasso Museum in Malaga presents the exhibition "El Lissitzky. The Experience of Totality", which features the creative career of this artist through his paintings, photographs, photomontages, book design and illustrations, magazines and architectural designs.
Lissitzky, is one of the most influential and controversial artists of the early 20th century. Architect, painter, graphic designer, exhibition designer and photographer contributed to the development of Suprematism alongside his friend and mentor, Kazimir Malévich, and the subsequent Constructivism.
Lissitzky invented his own form of abstract art (which he called Proun) and his work had great repercussions outside Russia through the De Stijl group in Holland and the teachings of the Bauhaus in Germany.
