Festival Luna Mora

The white village of Guaro is celebrating the Luna Mora Festival from 9 to 10 September, a two-day celebration of Andalusian culture and the mixture of religions that have left their mark on the area: Christian, Muslim and Sephardic. More than 20,000 candles are distributed throughout the old quarter and music can be heard in the streets and squares for hours; live concerts will evoke other times when Arab music was the star of the show. In the main square, you'll find a candlelit medieval souk selling handicrafts, delicious food and much more. In short, don't miss the Luna Mora Festival! It will be two very special days.
